Superconducting carbon black, as a functional and highly conductive filler, is mainly used in conductive and anti-static coatings, plastics, rubber, adhesives, inks, battery materials, cable shielding materials, etc. Widely used in the fields of conductivity, electromagnetic shielding, and anti-static in various industrial sectors such as electronics, mechatronics, communication, printing, aerospace, and weapons. Below, the editor will take you to learn about the uses of superconducting carbon black.
Usage suggestions
1. The conductivity of the material is related to the conductive filler (type and amount of conductive carbon black), matrix resin (type and crystallinity of polymer), additives, solvents, and processing technology. The following suggestions are for reference only during use. Different systems, applications, and requirements have different formulas and processing techniques, which require specific experimental research.
Under normal circumstances, when used in coatings, the surface resistance of the coating is 105-106 Ω when the amount of conductive carbon black added is 5% (weight percentage PWC).
When the amount of conductive carbon black added in LLDPE is 10% (weight percentage PWC), the surface resistance of the product is 103-104 Ω; In low-speed polyethylene (LDPE), when the addition amount is 10%, the surface resistance of the product is 104-105 Ω; In polypropylene (PP), when the addition amount is 5% to 8%, the surface resistance of the product is 104~105 Ω; In polyvinyl chloride (PVC), when the amount of conductive carbon black added is 15% (PWC), the surface resistance of the PVC product is 103-104 Ω after 10 minutes of two roll mixing at 150 ℃; When the addition amount is between 100% and 25 (PWC), the surface resistance of PVC products is less than 100 Ω.
In silicone rubber 110-2, when the amount of conductive carbon black added is 10% (weight percentage PWC), the surface resistance of the product is 103-104 Ω; When the addition amount is between 100% and 15 (PWC), the surface resistance of the product is 101-102 Ω; When the addition amount is 20% (PWC), the surface resistance of the product is 30 Ω. The volume resistivity is 100-101 Ω. cm
