Superconducting carbon black is a new type of high structure and high conductivity carbon black, characterized by fine particle size, large specific surface area, and excellent conductivity. Its main performance exceeds that of acetylene conductive carbon black, and it is used in different products such as conductive rubber, conductive plastic, wireless components, etc.
The dosage of superconducting carbon black 1/2~1/5 can achieve the effect of ordinary conductive carbon black. Due to its low usage and high conductivity, it has no impact on basic materials such as coatings, plastics, and rubber. And it can achieve a balance between conductivity and material properties. After filling natural rubber and chloroprene rubber with superconducting carbon black, the rubber material will also produce PTC effect, that is, its resistance will increase with the increase of temperature. When the dosage is less than 20 parts, the electrical resistivity of the adhesive is sensitive to temperature.
Special conductive carbon black (granular) overcomes the defects of easy dust generation and environmental pollution during use, and is more environmentally friendly when processing conductive, anti-static plastics and rubber products. Superconducting carbon black is a general conductive carbon black that can be used in industries such as batteries and electronics that require large filling quantities.
