Application of Conductive Carbon Black in Color Masterbatch
The introduction of nano carbon black into conductive masterbatch has a significant impact on improving the properties of masterbatch materials. Conductive masterbatch is mainly composed of PE or special polymer materials as carriers, conductive carbon black, and conductive enhancers. Adding a certain amount of black conductive masterbatch to PE or polymer materials can reduce the surface resistance of the polymer to 104-109, and has good compatibility with PE, PP, PS, PC, ABS, PA, etc. The anti-static properties of the obtained product do not change with changes in environmental humidity, and do not migrate or precipitate, making it an ideal anti-static agent for polymer materials.
The decrease in resistivity is not linearly related to the amount of conductive carbon black added. When a certain amount of carbon black is added, even if carbon black is added, its conductivity will not change significantly. The conductivity is also related to the type, particle size and distribution, aggregate shape or structure, and porosity of carbon black. Increasing the specific surface area and porosity of carbon black, reducing the ash content in carbon black, can improve conductivity and reduce the amount of carbon black added.
The smaller the particle size of conductive carbon black, the more favorable it is for forming a chain like conductive structure. Generally, the number of thinning passes is relatively small, and adding some processing aids and plasticizers appropriately can help reduce the electrical resistivity. If the mixing temperature is high, acetylene black and other carbon black can be used together for better results. The structure of graphite is similar to carbon black and it is also a conductive filler.
The special material for black conductive film is mainly composed of low-density polyethylene, conductive carbon black, and processing aids. Pigments: 3132 Red Powder, Fast Red BBN, Fast Red BBC, Gold Red C, Fast Red 2BP, Resor Red 4BP, Resor Red BK, Guyong Red F3RK, Guyong Red F5RK, Pigments Red 122, Pigments Red 254, Organic Medium Yellow, Organic Lemon Yellow, Fast Yellow G, Guyong Yellow 2G, Guyong Yellow HR, Pigments Yellow 139, Pigments Yellow 151, Pigments Yellow 180, Guyong Orange G, Pigments Orange 64, Phthalocyanine Blue BGS, Phthalocyanine Green G, Pigments Purple 19, and Forever Purple. The conductive film made from this material has stable anti-static properties, good conductivity, high mechanical strength, and excellent properties. The printing performance can be used for packaging of electrostatic sensitive products. Widely used in the electronics industry, aerospace, weapons industry, textile industry and other fields, such as packaging of electronic components, electrical products, optoelectronic products, optoelectronic integrated products, ammunition and other dangerous goods.
